New River Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Twin Oaks, North Carolina, just a few miles from the Virginia state line.

The course first opened for play in 1961.

This is a beautiful, mountain course. The terrain is very hilly. The greens are small and the fairways are very wide. Water hazards rarely come into play, however, sand bunkers are spread throughout the entire course.

The course's signature hole is #2, a 483-yard, par 5, with a pond in front of the green.
